TVS Apache RR 310 Overview
The Apache RR 310 is TVS's first fully-faired motorcycle and currently its most powerful and flagship model. Developed in association with BMW Motorrad, it is offered in a single variant and two colour options: Titanium Black and Racing Red.
-
TVS Apache RR 310 Design
With a sporty forward-pounding design typical of race-spec supersport motorcycles, the TVS Apache RR 310 has a strong road presence and big bike appeal that are hard to find in smaller sub-400cc motorcycles. The design language of the Apache RR 310 is entirely different from that of the other motorcycles ever seen on TVS.
At the front, the TVS Apache RR 310 has a dual headlamp assembly, which houses LED projectors and tiny LED daytime running lights. These headlamps come with small air vents below them, which along with the nicely sculpted front fairing and the fairing-mounted rearview mirrors, give the Apache RR 310 an aerodynamic look at the front.
The Apache RR 310 has an impressive visual bulk when viewed from the side, with it having the extensions of the full fairing that partially cover the reverse-inclined engine and the contrast red-coloured trellis frame. The visual bulk of the motorcycle is further enhanced by the large and muscular fuel tank and the heightened tail section, which accommodates the split seat arrangement and the bull’s horn-inspired LED tail lamp.
With a short rear fender, the TVS Apache RR 310 also has a bulky-looking single-sided exhaust muffler with a large tip at the rear. The racing-inspired design of the Apache RR 310 is further enhanced by the clip-on handlebars, which come equipped with top-quality switches, including those for the mode selection of the instrument console.
Speaking of the instrument console, the TVS Apache RR 310 has the most advanced full-TFT display unit among all the sub-400cc motorcycles currently in the market. This unique vertically-positioned instrument console packs in all necessary information, along with the different display modes for the four riding modes on offer.

TVS Apache RR 310 Ride & Handling
The Apache RR 310 has the best mechanical setup ever seen on a TVS motorcycle, with its chassis, suspension, tyres and brakes all having a top-notch quality feel and have been sourced from global pioneers. With an inverted telescopic fork at the front and a gas-charged mono-shock with a dual-sided aluminium swingarm, the TVS Apache RR 310 has a 300mm disc brake at the front and a 240mm disc brake at the rear. Equipped with 17-inch alloy wheels, the Apache RR 310 has a 110/70 ZR17 tyre at the front and a 150/60 ZR17 tyre at the rear.
The overall riding posture of the TVS Apache RR 310 is aggressive, which might not be comfortable for daily prolonged urban riding. However, the motorcycle feels sporty and agile at corners, while offering excellent stability at fast stretches, making it a great track machine and a decent highway tourer.

TVS Apache RR 310 Engine & Fuel Consumption
Developed in collaboration with BMW Motorrad, the TVS Apache RR 310 features a four-stroke, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, 312.2cc engine, which has a segment-first reverse-inclined DOHC engine. Paired with a 6-speed transmission, this high-revving motor generates a maximum power output of 34 PS and a maximum torque output of 27.3 Nm.
The Apache RR 310 claims a top speed of 125 kmph, while capable of covering the 0-60 kmph sprint in 2.93 seconds and the 0-100 kmph sprint in 7.17 seconds. While the engine impresses with its peaky power delivery and refinement, the vibrations do creep in once the revs rise while doing triple digit speeds.
-
TVS Apache RR 310 Braking & Safety
For its segment, the TVS Apache RR 310 is nicely equipped with premium safety features like a dual-channel ABS, traction control, assist and slipper clutch and Bluetooth connectivity. There are four riding modes – Track, Urban, Rain and Sport, each of which has a dedicated display setting in the instrument console.
-
TVS Apache RR 310 Verdict
With styling inspired by larger fully-faired superbikes, agile and precise handling and premium hardware and features on offer, the TVS Apache RR 310 feels like a proper world-class motorcycle, an irresistible package which is hard to find in the sub-400cc category.
