TVS Rockz

The TVS Rockz is easily one of the sharpest looking under-bone bikes currently available, with the sharp-looking body panels and body graphics making it look very youthful. This is one under-bone bike which should definitely appeal the younger audience more.

At the front, the TVS Rockz looks very sleek and stylish, with the small front apron having tapered edges on its sides and curved clear lens turn indicators covering a major portion of the lower side edges of it. The front fender, which is mounted just below the front apron, has a pointy and long design and matches with the sharp appeal of the overall bike.

The headlamp cowl looks bigger and accentuates the stylish appeal of the bike when viewed head-on, but it would have been better if it had trendier LED lighting theme for the main headlamp unit.

On moving to the sides, the TVS Rockz impresses with its sleek and sharp looking panels ahead of the footrests, which do come integrated with air vents for a sportier appeal in its design as well as ample heat dissipation from the engine. These body panels also integrate the pointy looking engine cowl ahead of the engine, which here along with the five-spoke alloy wheels have been given a black finish. The long exhaust pipe comes with a slim chrome shield on it.

On moving slightly rearwards, the TVS Rockz has its rear side body panels slightly in a sleek yet curvier looking manner, which flows all the way towards the tail section at the back. The tail lamp cluster has a pointy upward design, which also houses the clear lens turn indicators on its sides.

Given that it is an underbone bike, the TVS Rockz focuses a lot on practicality and usable bits, which can be sensed in its well-cushioned and long single-seat, ergonomically well-placed handlebar and handy features like a 12V power socket and even a small integrated speaker for listening to music while on the go. The instrument console of the TVS Rockz is a simple-looking unit with a complete analog theme for the speedometer, odometer, trip meter and fuel gauge.

The TVS Rockz has a top-notch and segment-best mechanical setup under its skin, with the bike having a 220mm disc brake at the front in the Plus variant (110mm drum in the Basic variant) and a 110mm drum brake at the rear common to both the variants. The bike does with sturdy-in-feel hydraulic telescopic forks at the front and a pair of gas-charged hydraulic coil springs at the back, the latter of which is also a segment-first trait.

The TVS Rockz has the biggest engine in the lineup of cub class bikes from TVS – a four-stroke, single-cylinder, air-cooled, 124.5cc engine, which can make a maximum power output of 9.9 PS and a peak torque output of 9.8 Nm. This engine here is paired to a 4-speed gearbox, which features a segment-first dual-clutch setup for optimized gear shifts with minimum jerks while gear shifting.

The TVS Rockz is one of the better-equipped offerings when it comes to under-bone bikes, with the bike having some nifty additions like handlebar end weights, engine kill switch, optional front disc brake and key shutter mechanism for the ignition keyhole.

The TVS Rockz is easily one of the most stylish looking under-bone bikes available in the country, and the presence of some premium kit like an integrated music system, front disc brake and gas-charged rear suspension takes its value quotient even higher.
