Vespa Sei Giorni 300 Overview
The Vespa Sei Giorni 300 is one of the most exclusive special edition scooters in the current lineup of Vespa in the Philippines. Based on the GTS Super 300, the Vespa Sei Giorni 300 seeks inspiration from the iconic competition scooter from Vespa from the yesteryears. Sharing its mechanical bits and basic design with the GTS Super, the Vespa Sei Giorni 300 gets a host of visual updates and a special matt grey Grigio Sei Giorni Opacco colour option.

Vespa Sei Giorni 300 Design
The Vespa Sei Giorni 300 is based on the GTS Super but gets a host of tweaks to its design, which makes it a spiritual successor of the competition scooter used by Vespa in the bygone era. All these changes, along with the matt grey colour option, do give the Vespa Sei Giorni 300 its own visual identity.
The major changes in the Vespa Sei Giorni 300 are executed towards the front profile of the scooter. Out goes the rounded headlamp placed on the handlebar cowl, and incomes, a separate-looking rounded headlamp positioned on the top of the curved front fender above the front wheel. This rounded headlamp is an all-halogen unit with a chrome surround and body-coloured housing. The handlebar cowl is a small unit now and is assisted by a wide and transparent front windscreen.
The front apron layout is inspired by that of the regular GTS Super 300 but gets a number sticker on the right side of the apron. Here also, both the sides of the front apron get angular clear lens turn indicators, while the central part of the apron gets a tie-shaped vertical design element, which has the Piaggio logo at the top and three horizontal slats at the bottom. The outer boundaries of the front apron get chrome garnish, which extends towards the rear tips of the floorboard in a wraparound fashion.
The Vespa Sei Giorni 300 gets the same split floorboard with a hump in the middle and recessed pillion footpegs in them, like the GTS Super 300. Here, the scooter gets an all-black theme for the five-spoke alloy wheels and exhaust muffler positioned below the rear right-side body panel. This version of the Vespa also gets the same rounded rear side bulged body panels with six horizontal slats for air vents on both the sides, though the right-side panel gets a number sticker like that on the left part of the front apron and red-coloured “Sei Giorni” badge at its rear bottom part.
Another big visual change here in the Vespa Sei Giorni 300 is the café-racer style single-seat, which has a slanted design towards its rear. It also gets a different-looking dark-chrome pillion grab handle. The tail lamp with outer chrome garnish and clear lens turn indicators placed on the rear parts of the side panels look the same as those on the GTS Super.
Unlike the GTS Super 300, the Vespa Sei Giorni 300 gets a tubular handlebar with a small cowl in the middle. This cowl houses the split instrument console, which is a combination of a rounded all-analogue pod at the top and separate housing for a digital clock and warning lights at the bottom. The rounded pod houses the analogue speedometer with an odometer and a fuel gauge in a split fashion. The premium-looking switchgear and rounded chrome-finished rearview mirrors are shared with the GTS Super 300.

Vespa Sei Giorni 300 Ride & Handling
Based on the iconic monocoque frame, which it shares with the GTS Super 300, the Vespa Sei Giorni 300 has a single arm with helical spring and shock absorber at the front and a single-sided shock absorber at the rear as its suspension unit. The Vespa Sei Giorni 300 rides on 12-inch alloy wheels, with 120/70-12 tyre at the front and 130/70-12 tyre at the rear. The Vespa Sei Giorni 300 gets 220mm disc brakes at both front and rear.

Vespa Sei Giorni 300 Engine & Fuel Consumption
Powering the Vespa Sei Giorni 300 is the same four-stroke, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, 278cc engine, which is the powerhouse of the GTS Super 300. This engine is mated to a conventional CVT gearbox and pumps out 23.8 bhp of maximum power and 22.3 Nm of maximum torque output.
-
Vespa Sei Giorni 300 Braking & Safety
While the Vespa Sei Giorni 300 misses out on Bluetooth compatibility despite being more expensive than the GTS Super Tech 300 which features this system, the former does get decent features like ABS, traction control and engine immobilizer.

Vespa Sei Giorni 300 Verdict
The Vespa Sei Giorni 300 is a fitting tribute to the iconic competition Vespa scooter from the yesteryears, and the premium pricing is worth stretching for the charm and old-school aura it gets in its design, despite it being more modern from every angle and in every mechanical bit.
