Yamaha Mio Soul i 125 Design
The Yamaha Mio Soul i125 is aimed at youngsters and has been designed keeping the young generation in mind, which is quite evident from the way it has been styled. The affordable and mass-market scooter gets a very sharp looking design language, which thanks to the slim and sharp profile and inclusion of a couple of key modern amenities look fabulous.
The front apron of the Yamaha Mio Soul i125 looks rakish, with a contrast finished centre panel which gets zig-zag character lines to make it look aggressive when viewed head-on. At the bottom of this front apron sits a petite but broadly laid T-shaped full LED headlamp.
The front apron is flanked by big triangular and edgy panels on either sides, making the Mio Soul i125 look wider from the front. These panels do house boomerang-shaped clear lens turn indicators on their front edges. The V-shaped handlebar cowl looks nice and gets a contrasting triangular bulge at the centre to aid its visual appeal even more.
From the sides, the Yamaha Mio Soul i125 looks sporty, thanks to its taller 5-spoke alloy wheels and rakish side body panels, which do get bold graphics. The split pillion grab rails at the back are something which are not so common in a mass-market scooter.
Despite the compact size of the scooter, the nicely stepped seat of the Mio Soul i125 is broad and comfortable for two. The tailpiece of the Yamaha Mio Soul i125 rises higher and bulges slightly upwards and accommodates an angular three-part tail lamp cluster.
The instrument console of the Yamaha Mio Soul i125 is a rather simpler affair, with the pentagonal housing coming with simple-looking speedometer and fuel gauge just below it in another small pentagonal housing within it. The scooter gets eco indicator for keeping the factor of fuel efficiency in check. Also, on offer are silver-finished levers and electric starter to make it look and feel sporty and convenient at the same time.
