Yamaha MT-03

The latest update of Yamaha MT-03 has been given and now it's counted in the MT series of naked roadsters. Other than certain distinctions, it shares its overall design and features with its previous generations. There has been no change in the size of the bike as it still manages to look bulky and aggressive in appeal. 

The all-new front headlamp in Yamaha MT-03 has been offered two eyebrow-shaped daytime running LEDs and a whole new LED projector. Another major update is the inclusion of the new glossy-looking LED turn indicators that have been placed on the upper corner of the headlamp. They have also included some really smart features that include a fully digital instrument console which has replaced the digital meter of the previous model with the analog tachometer.

The Yamaha MT-03 shares the same mechanical hardware which is similar to the YZF-R3 but is different in terms of engine and gearbox. The diamond-type frame upside-down hydraulic telescopic forks in the front part and rectangular swingarm has been accompanied by mono-shock in the rear. The 17-inch alloy wheels have been equipped with tubeless tires and a disc brake setup to ensure smooth and easy handling of the bike. 

Overall, the riding quality of the Yamaha MT-03 is great and is well balanced due to the presence of telescopic forks in the front. Moreover, the tubeless tires ensure a proper and safer grip on the road to offer a smooth and comfortable ride even on uneven surfaces.

The Yamaha MT-03 derives its power from the same 321cc engine that is liquid-cooled, four-stroke and is four-valved at the same time. This 321cc engine has been mated with the six-speed transmission system to deliver a power output of 41.9 hp at 10,500 rpm along with a peak torque of 29.6 Nm at 9000 rpm. Moreover, Yamaha MT-03 makes use of Multiple disc type clutch assemblies to provide sufficient power to the wheels to deliver uninterrupted power. 

The overall performance of this bike is outstanding and unbeatable even after heavy and bulky in size.

The Yamaha MT-03 has been offered with a very crucial safety feature addition that is a dual-channel ABS. Though the Yamaha MT-03 doesn't miss any of the safety features which the Pass switch, engine check warning, and race riding modes that ensure complete safety and security of the rider. 

Moreover, brake and suspension both USD telescopic fork front suspension, swing arm rear suspension, and disc front brake along with rear disc brake that provides enough stoppage power to the bike during emergencies. Some of the additional security features include side reflectors, side wings, and dual stepped seat type. 

The Yamaha MT-03 shares all the positive aspects with its sibling that is YZF-R3 which comprises a greater handling process and punchy and refined powertrain along with easy handling of the bike. One thing that has changed is the reduction of the bodyweight of Yamaha MT-03 which isn't similar to its sibling and rather is more agile and lightweight to ride.

Moreover, the front fascia features a whole sporty appeal of the model and the inclusion of hydraulic brakes are a boon to this motorcycle and its strength. The demand for this motorcycle is already taking a different turn since its release.
