Hino FL10 Overview
The Hino FL10 belongs to the upper side of the versatile range of 500 series of medium-duty trucks from Hino in the Philippines, which has its capabilities and specs much in the range of heavy-duty trucks, well almost. The 26-tonner 10-wheeled Hino FL10 is being offered in the Philippines in just one variant, with the color option of white.

Hino FL10 Interior
Apart from the exterior design, the interior cabin of the Hino FL10 too has been completely lifted off from the FG8JP7A, and that too with no additional comfort and convenience feature on board. This is a missed opportunity, for the Hino FL10 is one of the most premium medium-duty trucks from Hino.
The driver’s cockpit is a basic-looking combination of a four-spoke steering wheel and a rectangular instrument console with round analog dials within it. The entire center console looks large and rounded and has vertical sleek AC vents on its sides. The middle portion of the center console houses a 1-DIN audio system and manual AC controls in its left half as well as a stack of three rectangular storage compartments on its left. Apart from these comforts, the cabin gets the basic necessities in the form of power windows and a lockable cabin with three seats on offer.

Hino FL10 Exterior
When it comes to overall visual appeal, there is almost no visual difference between the Hino FL10 and the much lower positioned FG8JP7A. The complete design looks exactly the same as the latter, with a few minute add-ons, which do prove to be practical and a good welcoming addition.
At the front, the entire large fascia of the Hino FL10 looks quite bulky and mean, with the upper half having the front windshield and the lower half-covering a very busily styled front apron. Talking about the front windshield, it has rounded edges, a slightly curved lower surface and a large grab handlebar placed just below it in the middle. The upper right corner of the windscreen has an additional rearview mirror, which acts as a reverse camera due to its strategic placement.
The lower half of the front fascia has a very muscular looking profile, with three thick horizontal slats placed one over the other forming a major part of the grille. One of these slats extend to the front bumper, the side edges of which look broader than the rest of the bumper and house a pair of simple halogen headlamps. These headlamps have small round fog lamps below them on either side, while above them, there are trapezoidal turn indicators mounted on the lower edges of the front apron.
Coming to the side, the Hino FL10 has a simple yet elegant design, with the trapezoidal side window panels having mounts for dual rear view mirrors above as well as below them. The door panels of the truck come with a nice trapezoidal carved design element in the middle of them, with door handles to their right and turn indicators below them.

Hino FL10 Engine & Fuel Consumption
The 26-tonner Hino FL10 has a six-cylinder J08E-WD series engine, which is being offered with a 9-speed manual gearbox. This engine, known for its torquey nature especially in its mid-range, pumps out a maximum power output of 280 PS and a peak torque output of 824 Nm. This goods mover can hit a top speed of 108 kmph.

Hino FL10 Braking & Safety
