Hyundai HD 36 Interior
The overall interior cabin of the Hyundai HD36 can be best termed as practical, if not good-looking and modern. The dull grey theme of the overall finish of the cabin makes it look drab, however, there are a couple of bits that prevent it from being a cost-cutting half-hearted attempt.
The four-spoke steering wheel looks inspired from that of the previous generation Hyundai car, which along with a two-pod themed analog instrument console, make up for a decent-looking driver’s cockpit. The center console is placed within a large curved panel, which faces towards the driver side, and comes fitted with Ac control switches at the top, 1-DIN audio system below it, and a small rectangular storage bin at the bottom.
There is a switch panel placed at the bottom and curved vertical AC vents on the extreme right of the center console. The gear lever with silver inserts looks good and feels very car-like to operate too.

Hyundai HD 36 Exterior
For its size, the Hyundai HD36 has got a decent road presence, with a ‘love it or hate it’ kind of design it wears. While it doesn’t look too drab, the off-beat styling with a lot of influence of curved styling bits is not to everyone’s taste.
The overall front profile of the Hyundai HD36 has been designed in a very simple manner. The upper half of the front profile comes with a large angular windshield, which has got curved edges and two windshield wipers.
The lower half of the front profile, completely comprised of the front apron, has got a very simple look, especially in the middle part of the front which has been kept simple and comes only with a centrally placed Hyundai logo.
It is towards the bottom of the front profile, where things start to become a bit more interesting. The lower corners of the front apron are covered by large headlamp clusters. Curved from the upper sides, these headlamp clusters also come with vertically placed turn indicators on their outer edges.
The front bumper of the Hyundai HD36 looks slim and compact, with curved rectangular fog lamps on outer edges and two curved rectangular air vents placed in between them, with the license plate housing in the middle of them.
Like the front, the side profile of the Hyundai HD36, i.e., the side part of the passenger cabin, comes with a very simple-looking design. Covering the upper part of the side profile is a large trapezoidal side window with curved corners and a slanted shoulder line, with the large rearview mirrors hinged below the lower front edges.
There is a nice curved character line flowing just below the rearview mirrors across the width of the side doors, which actually emerge from the upper edges of the headlamps. There are turn indicators placed just above the side steps on the door panels.

For the Hyundai HD36, the Korean carmaker has employed its smallest engine for commercial vehicle range – a 2.5-liter four-cylinder, water-cooled, turbocharged diesel engine with intercooler. Mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox, this engine puts up 130 PS of maximum power and 255 Nm of maximum torque.

Hyundai HD 36 Braking & Safety

Hyundai HD 36 Verdict
The Hyundai HD36 might not be a feature-equipped and powerful truck, to begin with. However, for its size and price, the Hyundai HD36 serves as a decent truck that serves its purpose of transporting goods from point A to point B with ease.
