Shacman X3000 Tractor Head

While the exterior design of the Shacman X3000 Tractor Head looks very modern and appealing, the same impression is not generated by the interior layout. The layout looks distinctive with its driver-focused appeal but looks drab due to lower quality fit and finish levels and the use of dull black plastics.

The driver’s cockpit of the Shacman X3000 Tractor Head looks nice with a multi-functional four-spoke steering wheel with chrome accents and a comprehensive instrument console placed behind it. The huge centre console of the Shacman X3000 Tractor Head is divided into two parts. One part faces the driver side and houses a 1-DIN audio system with a small storage cavity below it, another storage cavity and single AC vent beside it and manual AC controls, and an array of switches for various functions on the lower part. The other half of the centre console is projected at the centre and accommodates sleek trapezoidal AC vents and a couple of horizontal storage cavities below it.

The front profile of the Shacman X3000 Tractor Head looks huge and tall, with the front fascia divided into two parts. The upper part of the front profile gets a curved and wide windshield with rounded edges on all four corners, a glossy black top hat covering the upper side of the windscreen and black plastic surrounds all around the windscreen.

The lower part of the front profile is again divided into two segments, both of which get a dual-tone layout, with black as a primary finish covering the central part. The upper segment of the lower front profile houses the main grille, which gets a perforated design for the horizontally laid two slats, and L-shaped side body cowls on the outer edges.

The lower segment of the lower front profile, on the other hand, is essentially the front bumper, which is huge and accommodates trapezoidal headlamp clusters. These headlamps are modern with clear lens turns indicators and projectors for the main headlights. The dual-tone finish is executed for the lower grille as well, which is present in the middle of the front bumper.

The side profile of the Shacman X3000 Tractor Head also looks smart, with small side window panels with tapering up lower shoulder line, which gives a wraparound feel with the front windscreen taken into account. The long and vertical rearview mirrors are mounted on the door panels just below the lower edge of the window panels. The door panels come with a couple of nice carvings, and the vertical door handles are placed in one of them.

With single-stage axles and multi-leaf springs at both front and rear, the Shacman X3000 Tractor Head is a proper workhorse meant for being a heavy-duty load hauler at all times.

The Shacman X3000 Tractor Head is powered by a WP series Euro II engine, which displaces 10.8-litre and is available in three states of tune, with maximum power outputs of 380 bhp, 400 bhp, and 430 bhp. In all three states of tune, the transmission option of a 12-speed manual is offered as standard.

The Shacman X3000 Tractor Head is one of the safest trucks in its segment, with features like ABS, seat belts, remote central locking, and cruise control on offer.
