T-King Neptune

The T-King Neptune comes with a pretty basic interior cabin layout, which has been kept frills-free for a purpose – to keep the costs as low as possible. The overall cabin has been finished in a theme of grey, with all the basic essential features like power windows, tilt-adjustable steering and AC vents present in the cabin.

The two-spoke steering wheel and a fully analog instrument console of the T-King Neptune might not look too appealing, but the overall placement of the steering wheel and foot pedals are placed ergonomically well. The center console of the T-King Neptune comes fitted with a 1-DIN audio system and AC control panel just below it.

Apart from the features mentioned above, there are no other premium standard features available in the cabin of the T-King Neptune.

The T-King Neptune has got a very simple design, which is nothing much to talk about, for it looks pretty neat and basic for the very price-conscious segment to which it belongs. The compact dimensions make it look well proportioned.

The front profile of the T-King Neptune is majorly covered by the huge windshield, which has a tilted placement to make it look aerodynamic. This large windshield gets a chunky black finish at the bottom of it, where the mounts of the windshield wipers are placed. The corners of this black finished panel also get hinges for the outside rearview mirrors on its far corners.

The lower part of the front profile of the T-King Neptune too continues with a simple look, with the overall layout of the panels giving it an appearance of a smiling face. This is quite evident from the design of the front grille, which has a smile like curved design with a sleek single curved bar running in the middle of it.

The front headlamps of the T-King Neptune positioned beside the front grille come with an eye-shaped design with curved outer edges and clear lens turn indicators integrated within them only. The T-King Neptune is one of the very few trucks in its segment to get a body-coloured front bumper, which makes it look not so basic when viewed head-on. This front bumper comes fitted with simple-looking fog lamps.

The side profile of the passenger cabin of the T-King Neptune has a conventional design to it, with a rising up window waistline, though it has a slightly curved design to it. The truck comes with black finished door handles and rearview mirrors. 

The Neptune II is essentially the long-wheelbase version of the Neptune standard, while the Neptune D is the dumper version of the short wheelbase Neptune standard.

Like the overall visual appeal and list of features on offer, the mechanical base of the T-King Neptune too has been kept simple. All the variants of the T-King Neptune come armed with longitudinal steel spring suspension with stabilizers at both front and rear, with the truck having a hydraulic vacuum brake system for braking.

The T-King Neptune Standard and Neptune II variants come with a smaller 3.2-liter four-cylinder diesel engine, which makes 85 PS of maximum power and 190 Nm of maximum torque. The range-topping Neptune D, which is the dumper version of the truck, has been given a larger heart in the form of a 3.7-liter four-cylinder diesel engine, which produces 88 PS of maximum power and 230 Nm of maximum torque. All the variants of the T-King Neptune come paired with a 5-speed manual gearbox as a standard transmission option on offer.

For an entry-level truck, the T-King Neptune misses out on a number of features and gets only manual central locking and safety seat belts on offer for safety.

For the price-conscious segment to which it belongs, the T-King Neptune offers a pretty basic package, which might not create or shake segment benchmarks in any of the aspects, but does fairly good in all parameters.
