Nissan GT-R Interior
While the exterior design of the Nissan GT-R still has got the timeless appeal, its interior cabin is now starting to show off its age, especially when compared to those of its competitors which have moved ahead in this game. The cabin lacks visual drama, but is hugely practical for a supercar, with many features and bits at just the right places.
While the three-spoke multi-functional steering wheel looks quite simple for a supercar, the cluster of dials in the instrument console makes the driver’s cockpit too focused. The centrally placed touchscreen infotainment system, apart from including functions for audio and navigation, also displays sporty racecar data while on the go, thus adding to the drama.
The centre console below the infotainment system looks simple with a wide housing for automatic climate control and various switches. The central tunnel is finished in carbon fibre theme and houses the push start-stop button, transmission lever, and drive mode selector.

Nissan GT-R Exterior
Even after all these years and with minimal visual updates, the Nissan GT-R still manages to turn many heads without looking like a car from yesteryears. The GT-R still looks modern and super sporty with looks that can kill.
The front profile of the Nissan GT-R looks sleek with a large front grille, which is divided into two parts – the upper one housing the Nissan logo within the Nissan’s characteristic V-type grille garnish, and the lower one having a large air dam to facilitate aerodynamics. The upswept headlamps with zig-zag daytime running LEDs and projector headlamps look cool. The vertical housings for the LED fog lamps and bonnet scoops further add to its sporty appeal.
The Nissan GT-R looks sporty from the side as well, with a sloping down roofline and heavy looking fenders for the front wheels, the latter of which hide air scoops beneath them. The side skirts and large alloy wheels add to the quintessential sporty aura of the supercar.
At the rear, the Nissan GT-R has got the traditional quad round LED tail lamps which have evolved nicely over all these years. The large wing spoiler mounted on the boot lid not only add to the visual aesthetics but also enhances the aerodynamics of the car as well.
The Nismo version of the Nissan GT-R adds in few more aggressive-looking design bits like tweaks to the front and rear bumpers with carbon fibre body kit on offer.

-
Nissan GT-R Verdict
The Nissan GT-R might not feel too futuristic and as contemporary as its traditional rivals which have been tweaked by today’s design standards. However, this Japanese supercar still has got a huge potential under its aging skin, which still has got the mettle to beat many more expensive supercars flat on.
