Nissan Terra Interior
On the inside too, the Nissan Terra exhibits a good blend of old school and modern bits, thus trying to offer the best of both the worlds. However, the cabin does feel a bit uninspiring and does not feel as modern and very appealing in its visual essence. The multifunctional steering wheel has a V-shaped centre boss and features silver inserts which along with the instrument console with a large MID at the centre makes up for a decent driver’s cockpit. The U-shaped centre console looks a bit old school, but with its wide layout, it surely makes the cabin look big on the inside. It consists partitioned AC vents and a small touchscreen infotainment system and controls for automatic climate control positioned just below then, which do get plush looking silver finish around. The all black dashboard gets the plush looking assistance of brown leather upholstery, and the cabin is equipped with a decent feature list including power adjustable driver’s seat, dual zone automatic climate control, Android Auto and Apple Carplay, push button start with keyless entry and many more. When it comes to space, the Nissan Terra has immense space in all the three rows.

Nissan Terra Exterior
The Nissan Terra seeks a strong impression from the Japanese car maker’s old school SUVs like Patrol and has got attributes of a tough-looking vehicle, which gives it the presence of a typical traditional old school SUV with mighty road presence. Having a mighty front fascia, the Nissan Terra gets a wide looking trapezoidal grille at the front which comes with angular U-shaped chrome garnish. The wraparound headlamps placed besides this grille sport a unique kink and feature projector bulbs and inverted L-shaped daytime running LEDs within them. There is an additional chrome garnish present in the lower bumper and above the fog lamps. On the sides, the Nissan Terra gets flared wheel arches as well as a prominent bulge above the rear wheel, which along with the high shoulder line, high ground clearance and large window panels give the SUV a gigantic road presence even on the standstill. The presence of machined alloy wheels and chrome door handles help in adding some richness to the side profile. The simple look of the Nissan Terra at the rear is characterised by large wraparound tail lamps with LED inserts as well as chrome garnish above the trapezoidal license plate housing.

Nissan Terra Ride & Handling
Built on an old school ladder on frame chassis, the Nissan Terra feels sturdy and rock-solid on off-road terrains as well, the credits of which goes to the suspension setup comprising of independent double-wishbone with coil spring and stabilizer bar at front and multi-link with stabilizer bar at the rear.
-
Nissan Terra Engine & Fuel Consumption
The Nissan Terra sources its power from a 2.5-litre four-cylinder diesel engine, which here produces a maximum power output of 190 PS, while the peak torque output is rated at 450 Nm. While the base variant is offered with a 6-speed manual gearbox, the rest of the variants do get a 7-speed automatic transmission as standard.
-
Nissan Terra Braking & Safety
The Nissan Terra has been equipped with a very limited list of safety features, which comes with limited inclusions like the front, side and curtain airbags, ABS with EBD and brake assist, vehicle dynamic control, tire pressure monitoring system, front and rear parking sensors, and rear camera.
-
Nissan Terra Verdict
The Nissan Terra has got an intimidating stance and performance, which does remind one of many quintessential old school ladder on frame SUVs. Sure, it lacks modernity with its limited set list of features, which makes the Nissan Terra purely for those who value the attributes of traditional SUVs over crossovers.
