Pre-Owned Nissan Terra: Why Would You Want One?
The Nissan Terra is still a fairly new addition to the midsize SUV market, having only been introduced back in 2018. However, this car immediately shot up in popularity thanks to both its versatility and reliability and made it a strong competitor against the likes of best-sellers such as the Toyota Fortuner, the Ford Everest, the Isuzu mu-X, and the Mitsubishi Montero Sport. What’s particularly eye-catching about the Terra is its unique stance which has the ability to draw attention when cruising on the road.
Second-hand units of the Terra are really attractive for those looking to blow a bit less cash for the numerous high-tech convenience features and generous cargo space of this impressive Nissan vehicle. It also manages to maintain its durability and punchy engine power even when on demanding drives.
So, if you’re looking for a reliable and comfortable premium midsize SUV on a budget, a second-hand Nissan Terra is the way to go.

Nissan Terra Overview
The Nissan Terra was introduced as an upgraded replacement for the much-loved Nissan Pathfinder. What’s interesting about the local version of the Terra is that it offers way more space with 3mm more length and 15 mm more width compared to its foreign counterparts.
The Terra has a distinctly modern design with its V-motion grille, LED headlamps, and LED signature line. It can seat seven adult passengers and offers generous headroom and legroom. The third row of the vehicle is also reclinable and can be easily split into 50:50 for more cargo space. A one-touch remote allows for easy folding.
Powering the Terra is a 2.5-litre YD25DDTi diesel engine that generates 190 hp and 450 Nm of torque. This can be mated to either a six-speed manual or a seven-speed automatic transmission.
It is also equipped with a variety of advanced features such as an eight-inch infotainment screen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. It also has Nissan’s Intelligent Mobility system which includes around-view monitors, an off-road information display, and HDMI ports with monitors on the ceiling. The vehicle also includes premium touches such as leather-upholstered Zero-gravity seats, and a leather-wrapped steering wheel and shifter.
The Nissan Terra is equipped with standard safety features including 6 SRS airbags for the driver, front passenger, as well as for the side and curtain, an anti-lock braking system with electronic brakeforce distribution, and brake assist. It also has other features such as a vehicle dynamic control system with braked-limited slip differential, audible lane departure warning, blind-spot monitoring, and automatic headlights.
The Nissan Terra is available in the following variants:
- Nissan Terra 2.5 EL MT 4x2
- Nissan Terra 2.5 EL AT 4x2
- Nissan Terra 2.5 VE AT 4x2
- Nissan Terra 2.5 VL AT 4x2
- Nissan Terra 2.5 VL AT 4x4
