The Hiace Super Grandia LXV has gone through six generations of facelifts and upgrades. This large vehicle is capable of seating up to ten to eleven passengers and is a favorite for hauling passengers and cargo on long road trips. Besides spanning a meter longer than the original Hiace, it’s also almost 2.3m tall which provides lots of headroom.
Powering this behemoth is a 2.5-litre four-cylinder turbodiesel engine that can be found in other Hiace variants. The difference is that the Super Grandia LXV generates a whopping 101 hp and 260 Nm of torque, with a peak torque output of 300 Nm. This is mated to a 4-speed automatic transmission.
Inside the vehicle is a 2-DIN navigation system with the option for drop-down monitors to be included for rear passenger seats. This is equipped with an FM/AM radio, a CD and DVD player, and a USB and AUX input.
